As per the firmware schedule posted here on DVX a few days ago and some rumoured timelines I was told - it now appears to be official. The F5/F55 will ship with a base set of features and only after 3 subsequent firmware updates be fully functional.

For example upon shipping the F5 will only let you shoot: 4k raw, HD XAVC 10-bit 1-60p, MPEG 422 30p/60i... and that's it.

2k RAW & 2k XAVC will come in June, HFR will come later in September... and S&Q (variable) HFR later, much... much.... later
