Matching Sony cameras with DVX200

I am having a difficult time matching up some DVX200 shots with those of a Sony A6300 which was on a hand held gimbal. The Sony was set without a profile and some of the shots are underexposed. When I try to fix, the image becomes a bit blotchy. My overall impression is that the image from the DVX200 is more robust if you can call it that, compared with the 6300. Would love to find a picture profile that is close to the GH4 so I can match more closely with the DVX200 which is set on Scene 4. Can Color Finale do the trick? I have been trying to match the waveforms. Can you match cameras with it? I don't see much on the Youtube about matching different cameras. Surely this must be a widespread issue...

My doc team uses a DVX200 and various Sony cameras including the A6300, A6500 and A7RII. We usually don't use a profile, just white balance the cameras and shoot the XRite Passport Video ColorChecker card for later use by Color Finale. I usually match them using Color Finale which can read footage of the ColorChecker card. However it doesn't always work perfectly so I have to hand adjust it by waveform. If you have two cameras and one or both are on auto white balance or footage is mixed lighting, it's a lot harder. Hawaiki AutoMatch can match two clips using multiple color samples, but it's finicky to use in FCPX: https://fxfactory.com/info/hawaikiautomatch/

I have Hawaki Auto Match and had a lot of difficulty using it until I got the developer in NZ to send me a customized 4 minute tutorial where he adjusted my footage with narration. I could send it to you if you like. It has helped me understand more on how to use the plug in. I didn't know about the Color Finale trick, but have just received my passport...I am so angry with myself for buying the wrong camera for the purpose I want to use it for, which is weddings. Have just bought a FS5 and will be selling my DVXs.
