getting THEIR footage to match will depend on what your work flow preference and target delivery format is.
what id do is hook them both to a multi-input monitor and play with the hvx scene files a/b ing from one cam to the other. but as long as you get the frame rate, shutter speed and exposure reasonably close. you can probably tighten it up in post
One of the important question you will have to decide is what aspect ratio to use. The DVX is a great 4x3 cam, and the HVX is 16x9. You can shoot 16x9 in squeeze or letterbox mode with the DVX, but you will loose even more resolution to the HVX, making it harder to match. IMO, you should probably down res the HVX to a 4x3 format.
What if i slapped anamorphic adapter on all my DVX100's would that help with the resolution a little id like to do all 16x9 but if 4:3 will match better until i use all HVX i guess it would suffice.
