Matching HVX to XL2

I am about to purchase an HVX and want to make sure that I will have the ability to match the SD of the HVX with the Canon XL2.
Unfortunately, I am unable to afford two HVX cameras and know that I will be required to have a multi camera setup in the future.

I want to match the 16x9 24p image from the XL2 with the HVX. Does anyone have any tips for me? In camera or post...

I realize there are probably multiple solutions. Throw them all at me!

My best advice would be to go to the XL forum on DVinfo, there also is a programm for the XL to create custom settings and organize them - I´m pretty sure there is one to match the DVX and that shouldn´t be to far from the HVX in SD...
