Hi all you serious multiple camera buffs. I am trying to match some footage I took with a PD150 to some footage I took with the DVX100A. I edit with Avid Xpress Pro and have a lot of effects and tools at my disposal including Adobe After Effects. Color, flesh tones, and gama are not a problem. The following are the main issues that I could use some suggestions on:
- I shot in squeeze mode in the DVX and in 4:3 mode on the PD150. Does anyone know how to get the PD150 to look like this squeezed footage in Avid. I realize this might mean cutting the top and bottom off and then pushing it in but, I just do not know how to acheive this.(by the way, it was a hired shooter that did not follow all of my directions which is causing this mess to begin with.)
- I want to convert the PD150 footage to as convincingly 24p as possible. I was not shooting in advanced, I was shooting in rugular 24p.
Please answer quickly with any ideas, I have a 12noon tomorro deadline.
