Doing some 2nd Unit stuff and it will be shot on the Sony V1U, question is the original footage was shot using the dvx100 24p squeeze mode and...

Is squeeze mode in the dvx letterbox 4x3 or anamorphic 16x9 squeezed to a 4x3 frame?

I dont have a dvx100 in front of me or else i'd fiqure it out!

The DVX is capable of both options: letterbox 4x3 and anamorphic 16x9 squeezed to a 4x3 frame.

However, the DVX has no native 16.9 mode. And keep in mind, when shooting in squeeze mode you will lose resolution.
