Matching audio from second camera Angle for live concerts?

Well I recently shot a live band at a bar and it turned out amazing! The shots from my dvx100b look great and I used a gs-500 for the close ups. Yes theres a difference but not too noticeably and it was low budget. In more time I hope to gather more equipment. Anyways, I'm in fcp and trying to figure out an easier way either when filming, or in post to match my closeup angles with my original audio soundtrack from dvx? It's so tedious and I eventually got it but there has to be an easier method. Thanks.

Use a clapboard or just clap your hands together. You could also free-run timecode, if your other cam has that capability.

What they said. Plus, make sure that you record reference audio on your second camera as an added measure. It's not that hard to slide the clips into sync using the audio. You'll hear the echo go away when you're there.
