Matching Anamorphic lens to ? for doc

I'm starting to work on a documentary shooting with the Anamorphic lens, which I hope to transfer to film. I also just prefer the filmic look of 16:9. There will be times that I have to do "run and gun" stuff, for which I won't have time for the anamorphic focus, depth of field complications, etc, and will just need to shoot quick. In that case I will need to just shoot in either "Squeeze" or "Letterbox". Which is best in order to match it up with the Anamorphic?

"best" might depend on how much post-processing you want to do. It might give better results to use Disjecta's post-crop technique in Photozoom Pro. Barring that, Squeeze would be better, because Squeeze converts the video to being 16:9 shaped, as does the anamorphic.

Test, test, test. That's the only way to truly know.
