Dear community,
this is my first post on DVXuser.com. I've been visiting this website nearly daily since I purchased my DVX100A back in 2005. Great and very valuable discussions here, and a friendly community - I learnt a lot. Thank you very much!
A few weeks ago I decided to cancel the P2-workflow and sold my HPX170 in order to get the AF100 and the AC160. I thought these cameras could be a nice pair and they seem to be perfect for my work. I am doing a lot of interviews and event coverage, both for the web and broadcast. These cameras seem to complement each other very well. While the AC160 is ideal for the run and gun stuff, the AF100 is the right tool for interviews in more controlled situations. Btw, the AF100 is such a great camera, I really fell in love with it.
I am not very experienced at setting up scene files, so I tried the AF100 mainly with two different ones that were published in the AbelCine blog a while ago ("Range" for increasing the dynamic range, "Contrast" for getting a nice look directly out of the camera that can be delivered to broadcast clients without grading).
Now I would like to mix footage from both cameras and get the image of the AC160 as close as possible to those two scene files from the AF100. Does anyone have experience with this and like to share?
