Matching a Sony DSR-300

Hi everyone -

I just ordered a DVX100B, and it should be here very soon. I purchased this to use as a backup and second camera for my DSR-300, which I use for corporate and industrial videos (output to VHS or DVD). The 300 needs to go out for repair next week.

As I will not have much of a chance to play with the DVX before my first shoot, can someone please point me in the right direction so that the footage from the DVX comes close to matching the 300? I normally keep the detail turned down a little in the 300 to keep the video edge off. I am especially confused about the different shooting modes (60i, 24p, etc).

Thanks,
Pete

You already know about detail.
Shoot in 60i.
The biggest challenge is color reproduction. The DVX looks so much richer than the DSR. I can't make my DSR look like a DVX. White balance from the same source and see what you can do.
