...Just shot this video to advertise my music composing skills...
When the Pocket went for sale at $495, I had to buy one, even though I DIDN'T need it.
When I purchased the Sony F5 I was amazed by the picture quality, but I was expecting it (after dropping almost 20K...!)
When I first shot with the Pocket (only 2 weeks ago), I was simply speechless. SPEECHLESS.
I am not a "pixel peeper", I am not much of a "tech head" when it comes to cameras, specs, features, numbers. I know the basics, and I use that knowledge at my best. I use cameras as expressive tools to deliver my vision. That's all.
So, there is NOTHING scientific about this "match" between the two cameras. I am simply amazed by how well they "blend" together. On a funny note...my Pocket, was more than 32 times cheaper then the F5...Uh...
I know, the F5 (which I LOVE) does SO, so much more, but now, go and guess what was shot with (except for the slow-mos, obviously F5!)
And for me, at the end of the day, it is all about achieving what was in my mind, regardless of the tool I am using...
I am truly happy having chosen these two cameras...
Enjoy!
