Match GoPro Hero5?

Sort of... gopro's normal color is super contrasty and saturated. The later versions have a "flat" setting, earlier ones a "protune" which was also pretty flat - their attempt at a LOG curve. The "flat" setting with linear FOV matches pretty close to the GH4 like setting in the DVX, maybe matches a bit closer still using TDCats profile. Not sure if the flat setting appeared on the GP5; but it's on my GP7 (have Protune on my GP3+Black). Only have to tweak white balance and maybe a bit of contrast with TDCats profile recording baked in to match the GP7. I then usually stuff everything through Filmconvert to get a consistent "look" or film feel. Gopro has never released a flat to REC709 or really any kind of LUT; and the ones out there that you can download I haven't had much luck with. I think it depends on the shoot and the look you are going after... if you are doing action sports and stuff may be good to try and match TO the gopro colors. Reason being, all these extreme sports stuff people are almost expecting the oversaturated high contrast look. For anything else, I use the flat setting and push/pull slightly the DVX footage (might be easier if the DVX is recording in LOG) but you can get it really close. Sorry, no real shortcuts. If someone has found one I'd sure like to know as well!
