R.L.,

Congratulations on completion! Good luck with the release. Good to see ATL filmmakers finishing things.

I appreciate you checking out our "Battle" trailer too...we've got some cast members in common with our projects.

In particular, Conrad Clifton...well you know HeadROC :)

Anyway, keep it up.

Good Job R.L. Checked out the trailer this morning. Action is off the chain, I like some of the "new moves" - stuff I haven't seen before in an action film. Can't wait to see the full thing.

likewise bro... Coming Correct had me on the floor laughing, I can't wait to check out the full feature.

Looks cool. You guys were good to be out in the cold with like no jackets on. For everyone outside the ATL it just looks warm, but I know it was cold as crap. Talked to Shaun and he verified it. LOL

Looks very cool. Nice fight scenes in the trailer. Due to the physical nature, how did you handle the insurance in case of injury? Policy plus Waivers? I'm in development of very physical script so this interest me. Thanks for sharing.

thanks Sean, due to the fact that my budget was limited, the actors signed waivers. we have never had any accidents thankfully, but at the end of the day... you can only afford what you can afford, and make the best of it.

here is the new official poster for the film.... it will be in select theaters on May 15th. of this year.

Awesome Poster RL - looks great. I just talked to Shaun yesterday asking him about when you guys might be done. I'm ready to see it!

Is this a 35mm release?
I just saw this thread. The movie needs to be completely re-edited if it's going to have a
successful theatrical release. Email me if interested. I've edited many martial arts movies.

The poster looks great. This could be a good martial arts movie. Whatever you decide to
do, good luck with it.

Honest feedback?

The trailer started off with a good hook. It didn't start off with a character to identify with or care about. That's a negative.

Sound effects were over the top fake.

The direct sunlight fight scene was a problem, blown out whites. Make sure your actor isn't wearing white in direct sun, and keep them out of the direct sun (butterflies / change location) when shooting digital. You probably could have stopped down some more there.

I thought it might have a Bloodsport kind of vibe, but it didn't seem to have a protagonist to follow. Just a bunch of guys fighting could just be the UFC. If I give a damn about why they need to win, and what the consequences are if they don't, I might actually get interested.

thanks for the feedback. it's just a teaser. the film is about way more than fighting, that is just the storyline underneath. it's about each fighter's story and why they fight. everyone is entitled to their opinion.
