anyone have any experience with this?

I'm looking into investing into a field monitor and I don't want to cross $400 right now. If not this one recommendations with that price cap? Thanks!
 
No experience with that, but if you are just trying to use that for framing or composition, it's probably OK. If you're trying to obtain HD focus might not be all that helpful. If you are trying to monitor color, then it's not going to do the job. It will basically give you a larger view of what your camera lcd gives you with a bit better resolution according to its' specs.

I don't really know of better choices in that price range.
