Marshall Questions?

So today I got the Marshall from Nebtek with the Panasonic mount and a Noga arm.
I tested the Monitor, everything is working fine, no flickering...great.

2 questions:

When I attached the Noga-to-camera(top)-to-monitor I found it a bit tricky, I actually had someone helping me, I could find a way to do it safely by myself... I was wondering if anybody found some kind of quick-release system for the monitor?

Also is it possible to view the camera menu on the monitor?

Cheers.

Reverse the Mount

Reverse the Mount

Take the metal screw mount on the bottom of the monitor, and attach it to the top. Then, let the monitor hang off of the adjustable arm. This works much better then trying to have the arm support the monitor from the bottom up. You won't have to worry about the monitor flipping forwards or backwards as much, and it will be easier to adjust the position.

Okay, After playing with it a bit, I got the hang of it as far as mounting it, I really love the Noga arm. I also got 3 extra mounting plates, so I added one on top and one on the side.

you have any pics, i was thinking about doing something similar... and may I ask how much you paid for the monitor? Is it the HD version with component hd?

The model is MarshallVR-70P-HDA-LI, paid $1599 with the panasonic battery option. The NOGA was $125. The extra mounting plate were bought at the Marshall offices in el Segundo, they were about $35 with taxes for 3 mounting plates.
