marshall monitor upside down for M2 and battery

I'm using the marshall 7" monitor modified for the panasonic batteries, but when used upside down with the M2, the battery tends to fall out.

I just use the good 'old gaffer's tape, but are wondering if anyone came up with a better solution.

I was thinking about some sort of "release button" that would hold the battery in place, and release it when needed...

I've got the same setup. WHen I asked them about it they basically told me it's not their problem and that I ought to use a velcro stip to hold the battery in place.

I have had this set up since May, and I've been thinking of a way to fix this problem. I came up with a solution but have yet to do it. It involves flipping the battery plate. I plan to do it this week. I'll post pictures once done. First I will drill a single hole centered in between the two other holes on the glued on plastic piece of the battery plate. Next I will glue or screw a small metal right angle piece inside the monitor right where the top center screw would go once the plate is flipped. That small piece will have a hole drilled in it with a nut glued on the back of it. In the end the plate will have only two screws holding it on instead of three, but I think that will be fine. Sorry if this is hard to visualize. I'll post pictures soon.
