Ha ha..... I would remind everyone that when we ran out of gas Ted was at the wheel and when we blew a tire Bullis was at the wheel. I am an innocent bystander tainted by the harsh blows dealt by fortuna to those amongst me.

Yeah, but remember the rule, everyone's problem is the producer's problem.

I know that it ain't fair, but who said that filmmaking was fair!

Yep, the last shot went off just fine. The 1.2k HMI did a fine job of lighting the walk around of "Eric's" aircraft. Even 20' in the air and after punching through a 4' x 4' silk, I had plenty to work with. We were off set by 10:30 PM and the grip truck was loaded ready to move to out next location today. Not to bad at all.

Awesome! I knew you guys would make that work! Can't wait to see the new set tonight... speaking of which, where is the new set, since I wasn't there at the end yesterday to find out.

Cool. I won't make it till about 4-4:30pm... I will give you a ring once I arrive Blaine. Is that all right?
When you arrive let us know and we'll get you to the first set.

Looks like a TON of fun fellas.

So who's doing what for this film?

director
DP
producers

All the fun "roles" stuff.

Kevin is D.P.
Ted is directing
Blaine is basically acting as line producer/unit production manager
I am executive producer and VFX superviser I guess

We've been fortunate to have Brandon acting as AD/AC and Kyle is script supervisor/continuity while Alex has been our sound/boom operator. Tim is an awesome gaffer and I am amazed at how efficiently he works with Kevin to rig the lighting.

A great crew and I am very grateful to everybody for working so hard and long to make TTN.

OK, just nailed down the scene list for the next two days of production. Blaine just emailed out the revised call sheets. Leaving for set now, will be a few minutes late. Tim (or Blaine) if you see this, please get the grip truck moved over to the new location (as close as possible) and go ahead and start pulling out the smaller instruments, flag box and get ready to move the taco cart when we have enough hands on deck to help with it (might want to off load the sand bags so we don't end up having an incident with the ramps).

See you all shortly.

Just arrived home from set... tonight was AMAZING! Let's just say we shot someamazing stuff tonight! Had my usual stop at In-N-Out on the way home :)

Just rolled in myself. I agree with Brandon, we had a wonderful and very productive evening. The production value of the shots we got tonight couldn't have been better. It started raining, but for one of our scenes, it was perfect. Once again, the 1.2k HMI saved our butts. Had to run a 100' stinger to the ballast and then two feeder cables from the ballast to the fixture, up the crank-o-vator to the head and then about 100' over to our setup. I used the tightest lens we had for the fixture and it actually worked out.

We pulled out all the stops on this last setup. Had a fire truck, an ambulance, a battalion chief truck and a crashed minivan. Throw in some rain, an EMT, a few firemen and some dead bodies mix it all up and you can get a really cool scene!

Can't wait to review the footage and see some of the BTS shots.

Thanks guys, another great evening.

Here's some BTS from tonight... mucho mucho good stuff guys, and I really enjoyed shooting that handheld stuff in the rain! :)

This is my favorite pic among all the awesome ones you have posted, because it's what it's all about: wearing guys 15-20 years younger than you into the ground
