Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Hey folks! This just in....

My film short, I.D. has been named an OFFICIAL SELECTION on Lumberyard Media's Horrorfest!!!

It seems that they have annouced a winner, a runner-up, two official selections and a worst selection. (Thank God I didn't win that! I guarantee you would not be hearing it from me!!!) Out of 26 submissions, I tied for 3rd!

Anyway, there is a viewer poll up and I am would love it if you had the time to go and click on my film. (Believe me, I just watched the other and I can save you the time! Not that I created a masterpiece... :) )

Click to visit the site. Remember... a vote for I.D. is a vote for your fellow dvxer!!! (I am sure the other films were done on single ccd best buy specials.)

Thanks,

Ted

I don't know what that means but I thought that was kinda cool.

Kool. Official Selection. Did you notice the one underneath yours? MES,YOUS,FLAVIUS? (no not mine, just thought the official catagory was funny).

Yeah, I saw that! I'm not saying it is the most prestigious honor... in fact, I prefer 13th on dvxuser than I do 3rd on Lumberyard!

But it is still cool.

Hahahaha, true that about the preferred placement. Congrats anyways, Ted man, that is sweet news! I didn't submit developed into anything... it's sort of weird because I made the film and then just kind of let it sift away... pity.

Oh well!
TTN!
BTW - brandon, i need to talk to you about your nasty little prank phone call last night... that operator was the weirdest thing in the world!!! MAN!

Oh man!!!! Third at the Lumberyard. I need to have my photo taken with you next time you come out or no one will believe I know you...

But did they have to screw up the aspect ratio like that? I haven't watched any of the others, are they all like that? Do I want to watch any of the others? Anyone worth watching?

Jason

I don't think that they are worth watching... but honestly, I haven't even watched a complete entry there.

I started to watch the first place winner, but was confused when it abruptly stopped at 10 minutes. (the time limit was 10 minutes.) Then I saw that there are 3 parts to it!!! What kind of festival is this???? A 30 minute video win a 10 minute short festival???

Whatever.

Thanks Kyle, I appreciate it.

It's kinda funny because I was trying to get a re-cut of I.D. into that festival but I spent so much time of dvxuser, I never got it done in time. Bummer... since it was a 10 minute festival limit, I could have add credits!

You should submit Developed for other festivals. Why not?

Yeah, you should. I submitted my first CRAP film, One Step Ahead, to many festivals, and ended up getting into a first year fest... and it works that they now allow our films to automatically be shown there! It's pretty radical!
