Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

thanks for the comps on the piece... i am talking with herman now, believe me... he critiqued it harshly (and for good reason!) -- i hope he likes it a little, though!!! =)

I do! It wasn't meant to come off as harsh. I like what you were going for. I told you about what I thought of the tension bows etc. :)

You have to remember that in addition to loads of talent, Herman's a dude who has years of intense specialized training.

He's probably going to be, or come off as, more critical than your average musical bear if you ask him to listen to your joint and respond honestly.

I did the music for Shed. But I would never ask Herman what he thought of it, lol, because I know it probably sounds like a cat walking around on a synthisezer to his finely attuned ears. So I'll just live in ignorant bliss and believe my girlfriend and my mom when they say the music for Shed is
"awesome" and "really good"

I had two cats walking around on a synthesizer for I.D...... I wanted stereo sound! or was it one was reading the Bass Clef while the other was reading the Treble clef? I forget... seems like ages ago.

Could you guys like update the first page with links to the important posts?

I can't keep up and I refuse to scan all these pages for "the goods."

Virum,

Good suggestion. Unfortunately, we accumulate a lot of drivel due to Kyle's ramblings. Right now at the first page you can click the "VARIETY" logo and it will pull up a page with thumbnails for all of the announcements. Though humorous, those articles do contain the substantive announcements pertaining to Threading The Needle. I'm not sure whether anything else in this monster thread is really worth highlighting but I will talk to Ted about it and if there are items of value I agree we should have a link at the head of the thread.

Actually, we're about to embark on substantive pre-production and we will be revealing a lot more about this project. I will make a point to be sure and keep the head of the thread updated as we move along so that nobody has to wade through marathon pages of PhotoShopped T-shirts.

Speaking of things of value. Today Ted sent out a PM to the team regarding technical info for shooting Day For Night (apparently our Nebraska crewmember is somewhere doing that in the Cornhusker state). Anyway, Ted, it might be worth posting the info you gathered for Kyle as other DVXUSERs may be interested in what you found.

Thanks for the input!

p.s. .... KU kicked K-STATE'S ass. I hope nobody called their bookie based on my erroneous prediction!
