I have shot multiple videos of Marine Week in Massachusetts and a lot of them are on Vimeo. Here's one of them for example.

The file is fully native directly off the GH1. You can go on Vimeo and download the original 720 60p file.

Theirs still a lot more videos to upload including being very lucky to record the helicopters taking off when most people have already left because of the terrible hail storm.

It was completely hand-held with the stock 14-140mm lens. I kept it on intelligent since I knew the weather wont always stay the same. What pissed me off is that I knew that their were going to be combat demonstrations but I got carried away recording other parts of the place. I would have been in a much better position rather than behind people trying to get good shots.

It's like I said, their are other videos that I haven't uploaded yet and the last ones from that day will be of the helicopters taking off.

I've already got some shots of a marching band but I figured I might as well head to the ball field to record a bigger one. Right after it was done, another set of Marines were coming in getting ready to show off their marching skills and their were slight rain. I decided to get to my bag and get the lens hood and the minute I was putting it on, a terrible hail storm came in. Luckily I was bend over when that happened and my GH1 gotten saved. I guess it was a good thing the hood wasn't on the camera to begin with. Like everybody else I went to hide under a tree but when it looked like the storm weren't going to get any better I ran to a building nearby with lots of other people and once the rain got less I stayed outside right next to the wall waiting for the rain to completely stop. I was basically one of the very last people to leave and I was thinking that I must be stupid staying that long.

As I left the building, I saw that the engines of one of the helicopters got on and a while lator, I along with other people were told to move very back because the helicopters were going to leave. That's when I got those shots.

I'm going to edit some more and the shots of the helicopters wont be online until Sunday at the earliest since thats when my quote gets renewed. #2 and #3 are the only native files for that day. All the other videos are edited together with either a bit rate of 5 or 7Mbps. For the helicopter scene, I will export to 720 60p at around 15Mbps to keep the quality almost the same as the originals. It took a very long time for the helicopters to take off and I don't need to show all of it.

Just for the heck of it, here's the previous native file.

what was your workflow to get the full native file off the GH1? Sorry, I am still struggling with this ;)

If you mean uploading it to vimeo, I just put the memory card inside either my laptop or a USB adapter and upload the file I want.
