Selling a brand new Marantz PMD661 Portable Digital recorder with the UDG Mobile Guard carrying case. I bought it but decided to upgrade to a Sound Devices 702 before I ever even had a chance to use this unit, so now I no longer need it and it should go to someone who will use it. All packaging, docs and accessories are included, including the following:
For those that dont know, this unit is a HUGE upgrade from something like the Tascam Dr-100 or the Zoom H4n. Its pre-amp are less noisy and the menu system and functionality is far greater. Marantz has been around along time and has made many quality audio components. This is about as good as it gets for portable digital recorders. Note this unit is better used with external XLR microphones as thats more what it was meant for. The internals are there just in case. Also this unit does provide Phantom P48 power so you can use professional mics with it.
For anyone looking to take their audio to the next level up from something like a Zoom or worse, the cameras built in audio, this is the way to go!
