Quick newbie question about zoom control on the ex3...

If I have an EX3 with a fujinon 4.5-59mm F2.4 (13x) lens. How do I get smooth zoom control with this attached zoom lens or any ENG HD lens? I'm assuming the zoom control built into the Ex3 will not tranfer over to the lens right?

thanks for helping a newbie out,

luke

If the lens is indeed a Sony 14-pin lens with servo zoom, the power transfers from the camera to the lens so you can zoom. This is not an autofocus lens, so that would not transfer. But you wouldn't want to use autofocus anyway.
