Manual white balance reading

Hi there, I'm wondering whether there's a way to show what the WB setting achieved after a manual balance is. I'm pretty new to Panasonic cams but most pro and prosumers I've used previously gave me this. Esp find it useful to then dial in K for DSLR B cameras.
I've also found it useful in run and gun doco stuff when quickly moving between different lighting conditions to remind me what I last set....I think it's even more critical on this camera due to the inaccurate colour of the LCD as a basic point of guidance.

I can't see any mention of it in the manual - feature request?? :P

What you're looking for isn't possible with the AF100.

I've got a color temperature meter, and to match white balance with a DSLR I first tried setting both cameras to a specific temp. Didn't work so well, the Canon was about 500 degrees warmer (or the AF100 was 500 degrees cooler). Now I WB the Panny using a white card, and the Canon with the meter value and they are dead on. I picked up the meter on Ebay for a couple hundred, well worth it IMHO.

Yeah I figured as much....seems like a pretty basic feature that could be addressed with firmware.

I think you got a great deal with your colour meter...have never seen a decent used one that cheap.
