I've been using recommended AVCHD 44 mbps FHD settings routinely on my GH1 and never had a problem, recording on a Sandisk Class 10 16 Gb card.
However one thing I often have problems with is the movie mode, I mean the mode with a M and camera icon on the mode dial.
Whether I record to FHD, HD, H or L AVCHD, the recording stops 80% of the time at the 6th or 8th second and displays a message "motion recording was cancelled due to the limitation of the writing speed of the card". I remember that I specifically updated to the latest PTool to see if this was resolved, that I reflashed my GH1 and that the problem was first gone, however on the following day I had an "write to card error" and since then I get past those 8 seconds only rarely. I never had a prolem with the card and other modes were never buggy.
It has nothing to do with scene complexity as it also happens when the cap is on. Is it a known bug? I couldn't find any info about that.
