Hi there,

I do love the beast, but times are tough and I could do with the cash for other more 'responsible' things.

As for specs of the device, they can all be found here;
http://www.gearninja.com/ADS/MLCD_109.html

The monitor is working flawlessly and is cosmetically sound. However, on the screen there is a slight mark that can only be described as a air bubble under the top layer. I have concluded that it is that, as it doesn't look like a dead pixel(s), and an image can be seen behind it. I would photograph it, but the bubble is so illegible that the camera cannot pick it up. It is just noticeable to the eye when on a solid colour, but other than that, you wouldn't know it was there.

I also feel I should mention that the screen itself is slightly concave, but this was often the case with this particular model and can be easily solved by opening it up. I am mentioning these detriments to be completely open.

I will throw in a hard case that I bought separately, as well as a Tekkeon MP3450 battery pack with all the relevant adapters. I will include free shipping and payment via Paypal. I can also link you upon request to my 100% positive ebay feedback.

I am looking for £250 for the lot, but please feel free to send your offers.

Thanks guys,

Adam

I would indeed, but I would have to add another £30 ($50) or so, to cover the extra cost of shipping.

''the bubble is so illegible that the camera cannot pick it up'',
well it does and it is huge and around the monitor in all four corners.

''the screen itself is slightly concave'',
but invisible in the pictures seller sent
IMG_1806.jpg

and this is an opened monitor with voided the now long gone warranty and of course not mentioned,
IMG_1814.jpg

the monitor comes with a remote control which is missing
but visible in the link with the specs:

Half truth makes no happy buyers, my friend.

Mitsos68,

As for the first point in 'all four corners', I am not entirely sure what it is you are talking about. While I said in the original description that I couldn't photograph it, it actually was picked up in the later photographs. The bubble I was talking about can be seen here;

This discrepancy with the four corners is unknown to me, so I can't really say anymore on it.

Not photographing the concave screen was purely an oversight, but I didn't tell a 'half truth' in this as it was clearly mentioned and highlighted in the description. I am sorry I didn't photograph it, as I definitely would have done upon request as I had absolutely nothing to hide with this monitor.

As for the warranty, seeing as the monitor is second hand and out of it's domestic country, the warranty is invalid anyway. Besides, it is definitely over a year old, so mentioning it didn't even occur to me. The sticker is void as I removed it purely for aesthetics seeing as it was rendered redundant.

Finally, their was no mention in my original description of including the remote, and the external link was an original manufacturers advertisement that I included so that buyers could get a clear idea of the specs. I am sorry you were mislead by this, but I did clearly detail in my description everything that was included in the package, which didn't entail a remote control.

This monitor was sold with all the detriments listed, hence the massively reduced price.

Thanks,

Adam

water damage!!!

water damage!!!

According to manhattanlcd support the bubble that you cannot really say anything has to do with WATER!: The white edges look like it has water damage.

I can assure you that during it's time with me, it definitely was not subject to any water damage I was aware of. I am not sure how these detriments that I listed were caused, but it is a given with a field monitor.

This aside, I do feel I was as upfront as I could be about the damage/detriments. The monitor was sold as imperfect and this was most certainly reflected in the price. It was not my intention to hide anything from you and I am genuinely sorry that you feel mislead, but I feel I have been as honest and as fair as possible.

Kind Regards,

Adam
