During an intense run-and-gun to gather as much content as possible, during CMJ Music Marathon in New York City, AV Squad found an intersting Ohio-based pop-punk outfit called Manda and the Marbles. Pressed for time, we interviewed Manda Marble and Mark Slak (formerly a stand-in for the 90210 character Brandon Walsh). This is the shorest PKG we've ever done (1:20). Therefore, this short interview is really just a lead-up to their music video (the band describes their sound and their influences).
The footage was captured with the Panasonic DVX100 set to 24p Normal. Shot handheld, the scene was lit with overhead street lighting and backlighting was created by framing CBGB's bright canopy in the background. Audio was recorded with the DVX100's on-camera mic. As I said... Very, run-and-gun. Enjoy!
