Well I think that there are some things that are male soap operas...

Playmakers on ESPN was a great male soap opera.
24 is like a male soap opera.

Oooh, Baseball season! The greatest soap opera of all time (I've had highs and a lot of lows this season).

Seriously, though. They have nice rear-ends. But, I can't get caught watching it because my gf will KNOW why. >=D
 
Meh, I'm at work.
At a NBC TV station.
And it's early afternoon.
Which means I'm getting paid to watch* this crap ('Days Of Our Lives' and 'Passions'), ugh.

Sometimes my job sucks.

*By "watch", I mean keep an eye on the clock and insert a local commercial break on time. I daon't actully have to watch any of the program.

That can't be automated via computer? You have to manually insert it at the "appropriate time"?
 
Oh we have automation that we use some of the time too.
But a human is more accurate and reliable, and is required to baby-sit the computers anyway.

I dont think any of us would be able to watch it. There wouldnt be any 24p amazingness...and everything would be ugly 60i

it takes away the meaning of DVXFest in a way...anyone could do it...

It's a good point and a real cunundrum for me ( first time I've ever written that word, if it's wrong...Sue me) I really loath TV but would give my right arm to have something on it. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get back to the script and figure out why Blanch won't go out with my lead character prefering the milkman instead, and why his former girlfriend is having a baby that has three fathers!
