We are currently in production of our first feature length documentary. Current working title is "Man Made".

The documentary is being shot with the HVX200 in 1080/24pa. Edited in EDIUS v4.51 (or whatever versions come along during the process). Over two days, we have shot over 100 gigs of interview footage, and we have one more big day planned for Saturday (August 11th, 2007). Once we finish the interview process, production will continue along slowly as we compile other shots for visuals, etc.

I won't bother telling you what the documentary is about. I will let the person who the documentary is about do that. You can read that below. See Post #4.

Some men achieve greatness.

"Man Made" is the story of just such a man. It is the story of a human being and his journey on the road of self discovery.

Since I am the subject of this film, I feel it necessary to say what this film is NOT. It is not a plea for sympathy. It is not social propaganda. It is not a political tool. It is simply the story of many told through the eyes of one.
 
Thanks, Luis. We've got quite a bit of interview footage, but on his way back to Ohio, Darius realized a lot of things that we completely forgot to talk about :) So, in a few months, he will be back down and we are going to shoot some more interview stuff.

In the meantime, I will be working on slowly filming some non-interview footage... Still trying to work out just what that will be.

I'm curious to see what sort of style you're going for in this piece.

Did you ever see Errol Morris' show 'First Person'?
If not, you should check it out.
