SHORT: Man-eater

This is a short movie I made with my friends. I directed it, acted in it, wrote most of it, edited it, and made the music. Let me know what you think.

The story itself is kind a funny. And you kept it short enough so it's not boring to much.

But you have a few things to learn and to know

- if you act in your movie, be sure to have someone to direct you... It's impossible to direct yourself while acting. I didn't notice any "problems" for that, but I just tell it because I like to tell it :-p
- if you hear bells, airplanes, cars heavily passing...just do another take...
- take care of your framing: look what's in the frame, analyse it. For example the winebottle at the longshot takes kind a lot of attention, in a way....

Funny little story. Some of the lighting and composition could have been better but i will echo what dre said its super hard to direct yourself especially if you had a small crew.

Nice sound effects to really help escalate the tension.

Also good job keeping it short and sweet.

yeah, the fact that you kept it short I would give you a 5/10 and not a 1/10... you just passed, but some improvement is needed...
But you're not hopeless :-p

Thanks to the both of you! I completely understand the comment about the lighting since I didn't really use much of it. The noise is something I couldn't control unless we used a different location. The cars, trains, and planes just didn't stop coming. We stopped several times and it just got too ridiculous and time consuming. As for directing myself, yeah that was difficult. I kept asking my friends to tell me if I should do something in a different way to make it funnier and no one had a thing to say to me. By the way I'm "Carl" at the end.
