the lighting in the shot where the kid is by the door is really good, what lighting did you use? (if any)

1, 3, 5, and 7 are lighted. All the others are just ambient lighting.

Edit: Lighted with those cheap fluorescent work lights. :)

It's kind of a James Bond parody, the main character's name is "James Blonde". Oh well, not really a parody, we just had to give him a cool name. :cheesy:

The story: James Blonde is a huge fan of the Donald Duck comics. So are the terrorists, trying to steal his collection of comics in order to get their hands on every Donald Duck comic in the world. But as they break in to him and try to steal them, they fail to get their hands on number 13 (that's why the film is called "Donald Duck Number. 13". A drama develops as the terrorists kidnap his friend, in order to make him give up on number. 13.

It's not really much serious, and it wasn't my idea, but it is funny. :)

I'll see if I can put together a trailer soon.

1, 3, 4, 6, 7 look VERY good. Especially for the lighting described. Nice work... looking forward to seeing it in motion.

i dunno how cool their school will be with guns and violence, you might wanna keep that in mind before you show it around

Ya, guns and schools don't mix around here. 1998 or so there was a school shooting and after that my preschool son couldn't point his finger like a gun.

I just did a green screen with my 7 year old daughter. She was standing swinging a kitchen knife and family members were bothered by the video!?
........next time.........bigger knife!!!! :)

I know what you mean, but firstly, there is no shooting in the movie, just pointing the gun around in a couple of scenes. Secondly, gun politics are waay different in Norway than in The States, so shooting and guns in my movies ain't no problem.:)

im surprised no adapter was used. some of those shots have great bokeh in the short dof range.

What were the settings that you used? These look really really good. It looks kind of grainy, but not digital grainy, like an intentional grainy. It looks nice I'd like to know what you shot you settings at.
