I hired one of these model type people you get In the cinema to show what we have here in the UK: Could this be the lost 'Corn Syrup' or something like that..

When I see Cornflour I think finely ground cornmeal.

But the picture is of sauce and cornstarch is used for thickening sauces, so...

What does the ingredients list on the box say?

Not sure, but It say's to mix the powder inside with water or milk.

I presume water for a 'clear' thick syrup..

Picked up two boxes today, apparently I need Corn Syrup next.. nobody could find it. The Ingrediants on the back are:-

Maize Startch
! Contains traces of Nuts
SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS

EDIT - Going to Tesco's in a couple of hours, see if they have a British alternative.. think I have something in mind called Golden Syrup. Who would have guessed? Mocking some up tonight for a test shoot tomorrow.
