Making an AVCHD DVD to play on Blu-ray player

Shot about 3GB of footage this morning. I'd like to quickly make a DVD that will work on a Blu-ray player. Can somebody tell me the quickest way to do this? Do I just burn the files to a DVD? If so, do I burn the whole "private" folder, "avchd" folder, or just the mts files? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you only have 3GB then just burn a Data DVD with the "PRIVATE" folder and it will play in a Blu Ray player...

UDF 2.50+ Burning PRIVATE may not work. Burning BDMV may work but still there is no guarantee. AVCHD playback on a Blu-ray player is still flaky.

I guess it does depend on What player you are using... I have tried it on a couple of Sony players and it plays fine. My guess would be that Panasonic players would probably work. My PS3 (Sony) also plays them just fine...

Let us know how it turned out...

I've not had much success on creating an AVCHD DVD playable on either a Panasonic or Sony Bluray player. However, I haven't tried in months, and it could have been aproblem with the computer I was using to write the disks...

Also, I didn't play around with limiting the bitrate much either...
