this obviously works for any tapeless camera, but I made this for my HMC 150 so here it is in this forum
So I hade some time to kill...

a quick do-it-yourself project: making a video slate that reflects tapeless workflow and can provide help with white blance. It is just two pieces of 8"x6"plexiglass with a printed form pinned between them. They are held together by 4 small screws/nuts and a dry erase marker is attatched to the back via velcro. Total cost: : $11 all parts avail at homedepot. The "eraser" for the marker is just an adheasive strip of velcro (loop side) stuck to the back.
The commercial slates I found all still say "tape" or "roll" and since its 2009- I wanted one that said "card". So that's really the only thing that reflects a tapeless workflow
