Make an Offer - DVX100Be PAL

I am located out of the country and my DVX100B Pal was giving a funny error that I posted earlier - "DVX is locking where no buttons work" 4-13-08.
There is no authorized Panasonic dealer here and the parts are very expensive. The fire wire port is not working and they say that board is what the problem is.
The camera is 1 year old with less than 100 hours. It is in great condition, well cared for. I always used a separate tape rewind. I know my computer FW card damaged the port because the guy who sold it never hooked it up right. Anyway - I am not interested in fixing it because I have other cameras and would be willing to take a good offer.

Is it not still under warrantly? Did you buy it brand new?

What country are you in?

How often does the locking problem happen?

Is it always fixed when you power down and then on again?
 
It is over the warranty by about 3 weeks. It was bought brand new from an authorized dealer. I am in Israel. The locking problem is after shooting i.e. recording and pausing, for about 10-20 minutes.
It always works fine when I take the battery off and power on again.
 
The camera is still available. Granted - it needs fixing but even if the whole main board was replaced you would still be getting a great deal. The camera was very well cared for. Only PQ or MQ tapes. No rewinding on the heads and always used a separate camera for capturing. It really is in great condition. Because I am located in a non-Panasonic service center country it is not worth it for me to fix it - but I have checked out other service centers and the parts are available and could give someone a great deal on a PAL camera.
 
Think about it - If you get it fixed it will be back in warranty. If I fix it and sell it you won't have a warranty. I'm willing to make a good deal for a mint condition PAL DVX100
