Major Problems with FCP 7 and exporting

Ok I have search the internet for solutions and found a few answers but nothing is working. For some reason I cannot export my Canon 5d movie from FCP 7 without some sort of error popping up. When I try to render on the time line I get "The effect "looks" failed to render: Your hardware cannot render at the requested size and depth." Then if I try to export via Quicktime or COmpressor I get a error "quicktime error -50." So basically I can not get my edited movie out of FCP.

Some solutions I found and did not work for me are:
Unplugging my second monitor
Reinstalling Final Cut
Changing Video Processing to 8bit

I don't get it I have a new mac with 2.66 Ghz Quad-Core Intel and 6gb ram. Can anyone help me? this is really frustrating. Is it MBL that is causing all this?

Have you tried exporting w/o MBL applied? You might also check for an update to MBL.

Good luck.

I think I found out the problem. I using still with my video and I applied MBL with on the stills. When I take it off just the still it works fine. I guess I'm going to have to retouch the still in photoshop to mimic the video and reimport it back .. What a pain.

I gave up on FCP . Try the new GrassValley Edius 5.5. I'm getting 3 realtime 5D streams of full-rez editing, and correct black/white levels. No rendering, nothing, just the raw 5D files. I can pop on 100s of stills, of any size, with my video, and no rendering. I'm in heaven.

I just built a i7 920 computer, and overclocked it. Cheap.

I'm just amazed,
