Major issues in QT 7.4

[mikkowilson]

Looks like Apple's QT 7.4 update has some major issues.

Reports are all over Apple's support forums raging from Leopard failing to boot: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1295478&tstart=0

to After Effects: (DVXuser) thread running here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=122251

Looking at the Apple Forums, Windows QT users also appear to be effected to some degree.

Probabaly best to hold off on QT 7.3 for now.

Note: ANY "PC vs Mac" posts will be deleted on sight. Don't go there.

Makes me glad I clicked "Cancel" when the prompt came up.

I upgraded, no problems on my Macbook or Mac Pro.

QT hasn't run worth a hoot since it went to 7. I downloaded the upgrade today to my Vista laptop, if I get any grief I'm going back to 6 for all my old files. I'm thinking QT was bought by Real media!
