Major HVX Problem...Need Help

Hi, while doing some tests the other day with another HVX owner, I turned on my camera and everything on the viewfinder and LCD had a pink/purple glow to it. I tried to white balance but the camera told me 'low light' when it clearly wasn't. We went through all the settings in the menu and all the switches on the camera, but nothing was funny there. I put the settings to their inital form in the menu and even pressed the little button on the side of the camera for a master reset. Still nothing. I hooked my camera up to my TV hoping it was just something the camera is telling the viewfinder and LCD, but no way, the TV outputs it as pink also.

I've never bumped, dropped, or banged the camera. Its spent most of it's time in my Pelican case. It only has 23hrs on it with most of those used for dubbing tapes. My initial thought is that one of the CCDs has burnt out. But with so little hours of actual filming how could that be.

So far nobody has any idea what is going on, so before I send it off to get looked at, does anybody have any ideas or suggestions to what it might be or what I might be able to do?

Thanks

My guess is that you have your ND switch set to on.
Check that first because that will have that type effect indoors and knock down the light.
It's located next to the focus switch just in front of the flip out viewfinder.

Nope, the ND switch is off. All the switches are normal, all the functions in the menu have been reset to their original settings.
