major error with focusing mechanism(HVX)

my hvx is about 1,5 years old and recently it started doing weird thing. Here is a sample footage: www.fff.ee/hvx

Focus set to manual, but when i zoom to 70-80 and pull focus, it starts kind of breething and making scary noise in the body, and it wont stop, until i zoom in/out and pass that range(70-80). "breething" increases when i pan camera lens to ground.

Any ideas how to fix? Whats the problem? How much...

I have the same problem, but only in the focal range between 6 and 10 millimeters. I can also have a very low noise like a motor. We need a service?

This is becomming more and more a common problem with the HVX200 the Codex board and the main camera board has components that short out and needs to be repaired. We do board level repair instead of replacing the expensive boards. If you need more information I can be reached at mshank@tekmg.com
