MainConcept to support HVX files in Premiere?

Not sure if this has been discussed before but while browsing the MainConcept website I saw their animated add for the new MPEG ProHD 2.0 will "coming soon" support DVCProHD fiiles and it shows a picture of an HVX. you can see the image/ad here:

Anyone know any more about this? It would be nice to finally just drop my HVX files into a Premiere timeline and have it play out on my Decklink card.
 
That is certainly interesting. It's the first that I had heard of this.

Good news for us Premiere users if it really does support DVCPro and DVCPro HD.
 
Well, that's ... curious. It's an MPEG product, an HDV/XDCAM-HD editing suite etc, why would it have DV100 support? No mention in the press release at all, but it shows up in the animated image...

Yet MainConcept does have a DVCPRO-HD software development kit, and IINM Matrox is using the MainConcept software in the Axio system, yes?

So it's certainly possible that it will include it in that product, just seems an odd pairing. But yes, I would expect MainConcept will have a solution for HVX users sometime soon!
