Hi,
I'm having what seems to be a very unique situation: Google found only three results and those were all for the GH1... so here goes...
I've put around 120 hours on my HMC150 and every now and again the MainConcept transcoder will croak on a clip. I think it's happened a total of 15-20 times or so. It will interrupt the transcode mid-clip with this error:
Failed to import a frame!
Make sure the source media has not been removed
It's sort of a pain because on any given project this will happen a good handful of times (I've gotten two in the last four card dumps). When it happens I say ok, then 'select clips' so it doesn't attempt to retranscode that clip, and start it again. Sometimes it's happened twice per dump.
I can manually transcode the problem clip with the Adobe Media Encoder, it's just a lot slower. I seriously doubt it has to do with the source media being removed, as it will continually fail on the same clip, plus this happened when the source footage was on an internal hard drive.
Any thoughts? Might I have a defective camera?
