Hey guys, just wanted to share this new film we made for festivals. We finished our feature back and June and now are starting another one next month. So it was nice to return to this style of filmmaking. Features are A LOT of work. Shorts are also hard but a lot more fun in my opinion. Hope you guys enjoy watching it.

the sound of the metal piece against the magnet, it's good it's in the beginning. And it's also good you let first hear it and then show it...

some small mistakes with the 180° rule and "directions of looking".... at the playground he looks right, then left, then she looks left but should look right...

never use the same shot twice..and I mean the same piece of that shot...never....never
it now feels as it were 2 boys.... because you used the "contiuing" of the shot....
around 1:29 going from happy to sad
1:32 he has a different way how he looks
1:33 is the other part of the shot at 1:29, and here it's a bit....strange

And as I told already 48040608670860786786786867860786786786078676767867676 times: delete the music...
it doesn't need to be 100% full of music,

Because you putted it 100% full of annoying asleep falling music, I only give it a 0,5/10

Sound is A LOT more then music only

- wind, birds, dog barking, footsteps, sound when you move, of the clothes, the trees, the leaves, a certain bird on some spots, kids playing, people talking...
 
Wow, a little harsh but alas thanks for watching man. Can't say i'm a sound expert so i'll take your word on it lol. It wasn't all music, however this was a silent film so it requires a little more in my opinion. Regardless thanks for watching.
 
I mostly only talk about the sound... the framing was good, but in 99,99% it's the sound which is the most difficult... And also because most people forget that sound is more then "dialogues" and "music"...

and it's also bit personal taste....

if it was a silent film.... yes, but still for me the music was "repetitive" in a way. I'm not a composer.... So I wouldn't know how to do...
