hi someone at Genus said that they don't use magents with their LCDVF's as it can cause you to lose data. Does anyone know if this is accurate as googling has not revealed much.
The LCDVF frame that attaches to the camera is just metal, not magnetic. The magnets are on the actual viewfinder. It's not recommended to leave the LCDVF attached long-term (as in, never taking it off), but I've yet to lose any data while using mine.
