I used to own both but sold them separately. I bought a LCD Frame that attaches by clipping to the VF for Canon 7D specific models. I then permanently glued the Magnetic frame from a CarrySpeed LCDVF to it. This allows me to remove the frame when ever I wasn't in video mode. There is felt lining on the LCD screen side to protect it from scratching.
It comes with it's own case.
