I've been checking out the Magicine 35mm adapter for the DVX. Does anyone know anything about it? Will it be available for the HVX and is there a magnification with it. The EF adapter for the XL2 has a horrible magnification and is almost unusable unless you are shooting nature or other types of telefoto. If this device is under 2K$, you will be able to have a very shallow depth of field and use good Canon glass. I hope this comes out for the HVX. It will give us the ability to have more of a film look. It will also take away from the obvious appearance of a 1/3" chip.
Still lenses are pretty cheap to rent and buy depending on the quality, even a great still lense is much less than a piece of cine glass.
