Magic Bullet Looks (for fcp)

I understand how to use the looks.

The thing I can't figure out is how to enable them in FCP.

After I tweak a look, I press OK and nothing happens.

It takes me back to FCP but none of the color work is there.

ANybody ever experience this or know what the solution is?

Thnx

The timeline back in FCP needs rendering, but even when rendered there is no evidence of the color work done in Magic Bullet Looks. ?

Hmm that's odd.. This is how I do it... I trim and send my clip to the timeline. On the timeline, I double click the clip. The clip then opens up on the canvas and I add MBL. I go to the filters tab on the canvas and click "edit", make my color changes and click okay. Is this what you're doing?

Yes, that's the process but when I click "OK" nothing happens. I'm left with the clip but none of the color changes.

There must be a Red Giant genius out there somewhere.

Any ideas?

Why won't Looks work?

Cut a selection you want the filter on, apply Magic Bullet Looks. Then go to filter in the canvas window, double click edit, then this will take you to an entire new user face which is MBL. Apply the colors you want , then hit ok, you automatically return back to FCP with the filter applied to your clip. You then render it and everything is fine.

I can post pics if you want

peace

Also, it would be helpful to provide version numbers of FCP and RG ML.

Computer and what sequence settings you are working in.

I'm using Looks 1.0 and FCP 7.

29.97 timeline.

Everything works fine until I click "ok". It takes me out of Looks and back to the FCP timeline but nine of the color work carries over.

It's a bit twilight zone-ish.

You should try updating your MBL as we are up to 1.4 now I believe or at least 1.2.
