Magic Bullet for Avid?

I just got a second DVX and came with the DVX Book and the magic bullet for editors. I was wondering if that works for avid at all? I do have After Effects 6.5 as well. I would like to use it with just avid if possible though. You know what, I own Vegas Video 6c at home and at work its Avid Xpress Pro 4.3 and im beginning to love vegas so much more because it seems that when I import to vegas a 24pa project, it looks 100 times better and stays that way. Avid been sucking. Hopefully when we upgrade to 5.2 that will change all that. Anyone know about that as well?

Yeah it works. You have to get the right version from the web site. 5.2 is pc, I'm mac, maybe in 2006 we will get HDV support, DVCPro 50 capture, etc.

I'm minidv DVX100 so it runs fine for me.

Are you sure you are talking about Magic Bullet working with Avid like having the Effects in the effect pallete? I tried and it didn't seem to work!

It does work. FatDaddy is right that you need to download the working Avid version from Red Giant's website. Take a quick look over there.

Nah but I got the one that came with the DVX, I dont want to spend that money to get it again. There is no way to get the one that came with the DVX to work?

Hehe, i guess its cause I hate to read, I went to the site and seen the avid version with a price. However I did find the demo for download, im talking abou the full version.

If you download the Demo, you can use the serial numbers from the software that came with your DVX to unlock it to get the full version.

Ahhh. I figured the demo came as a demo and not able to register. Should have told me that before. Well I downloaded it. Thanks alot man!
