Macro Test

We just got our Red Rock micro 35 and went out on the sidewalk behind our studio for a test shoot. The Lavender Experiment.

What combination of lens and f/stop did you use?

Sure:
Shot with Scene file 6 and the V-detail and Detail cranked all the way up(hind sight says it should have been a little less boosted).
The HVX iris was all the way open.
The Nikon Lens was an AF Nikor 105mm macro set to F11.
Blacks crushed in FCP.

Edges look a bit soft? Whats your zoom/focus set at?

That's a confusing statement and question. Do you mean the the shallow depth of field created by the macro? Its a prime lens so there was no zoom...the focus was roving as the bees don't always hit there marks.
