Macro Lens footage

So I shot this earlier tonight all with my Nikon 85mm f/1:2, with a series of macro lenses screwed onto the end. Some necklaces hanging in my room and a couple toy robots (I love robots, what can I say?). It was amazing how small the area of focus was with some of these macro lenses, less than a millimeter. One technical difficulty; having some software issues right now so the footage has not been flipped upright yet. But take a look and comment. Thanks.

(I personally enjoyed the last shot the most, if it wasn't obvious)

My brother used to have that exact same red domed robot!!! I remember it. Just out of curiousity, what sort of software issue would allow you to edit and render a video but NOT flip the image? That's a fancy software issue if I've ever heard of one.

They've been making those little domed robots for years now. Mine's actually an original model from 1977 (their first year), so you have to forgive him when he doesn't walk for very long distances before needing cranking again. The software issue? I'm currently using an old version of Adobe Premiere 6.0, and technically I CAN flip the image, but when I do, the rendered video ends up looking like an overly compressed old-school jpeg. For previous bits of footage with my lens adapter that I chose to display publicly online, I had to go to a friend's house and use his version of Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 (latest version) to flip and export the video. I didn't feel like doing that this time. Hopefully though I'll be upgrading my software in the not too distant future.

Random thing, I just watched the footage, and it's a shame, it was shot 16:9 and then cropped in post to be 2.35:1, but since vimeo has to stretch it out to fill their little window, it's sort of back to being 16:9, but stretched out a bit. Ah well. Extreme closeups are still fun.
