I loved the eye close up, very cool- the other stuff was OK

I get you. I literally got home and saw the package in my front door step, got out, opened it and started to shoot. Edited the thing quickly and had to go out. I definitely love the power and the aesthetic part of it though.

By the way -- thanks for muting the crickets!!!

What lenses did you use? Century Optics diopters? If so,, the 2+, the 3.5+?
For the extreme eye close up I used the +10/+4 combined. For the other ones just the +10 I think. They're the Sonia brand. Got them from Ebay and they ship from India where they are made. The kit includes +10 macro lens and +1, +2, +4.

How much $ ??

Got a link?

the eye reminded me of the opening scene in aeonflux. That was cool, other than that, i didnt really like the other stuff too much. It seems there was a major loss of clarity? Perhaps im not understanding the true function of a macro, i thought it was to capture up close detail?

Go to ebay and type 72mm macro lens kit and you will find a whole bunch of them. The one that I got is not there anymore but the company is with other camera products. They're called Photo-Video-accessories and they seem very reliable. They sell for about $20-35 dollars when you include the shipping costs. I would recommend getting the ones with the +1,+2,+4 just because you get more leverage.

Here's a link to another seller in ebay that has 100% positive reviews that has this product.

The other stuff were extremely small decorations around my house. For example, the girl from the Wizard of OZ is actually a very tiny piece of clay. So you see that the lens works as a magnifying glass to the smaller world. In terms of clarity here's what I have read and know thus far. When you work with Macro lenses the DOF is very narrow. Therefore, moving in any direction to the most minute way will alter what is in focus and what is not. What I should have done instead is used the tripod and then once I got the angle perfectly with the proper focus where I wanted it then started to film. Better yet just use the remote control so as not to alter the camera's positioning. One day of owning a Macro kit and I think I know it all. Sorry! My tone was humble and not arbitrary. I promise.
