will a new 15 inch macbookpro work good enough for workflow for ex3....its all i can afford new?

My late 2008 MBP 2.4Ghz, 4gb ram works well with my EX-1.
Am also using a second 24" monitor via mini dvi.

yup. i'm dumping footage and doing quick edits on my last gen mbp 2.5ghz. i could use it for full edits if needed but i have a macpro that smokes it. you'll be just fine with any newer mbp.
